Racial Trauma
Racial trauma is the mental and emotional injury caused by encounters with racial bias, discrimination, and racism.
Recognition and discussion of Racial trauma in society has improved in recent years. A catalyst for this progression was the unlawful murder of George Floyd by a police officer in the United States of America. This presentation will cover the personal impact of Racial Trauma. It will also set out what employers can do to support employees to help manage, reduce, and eliminate the negative impacts of Racial Trauma.
